Founded by the Love Family
Founded by the Love family in loving memory of Caleb Lampkin Love — beloved brother of Co-Founder & Executive Director Charles Love, MHS — the Caleb Love Foundation is a labor of love anchored in faith, family, and a shared commitment to young people.
The family established the foundation to honor a beloved brother and family member through service to system-impacted youth, guided by a shared legacy that helps young people break cycles and build futures.

Co-Founder & Executive Director
Charles Love, MHS, is a human-services executive, community advocate, and nonprofit strategist with more than 25 years of experience advancing opportunities for young people, families, and communities impacted by systemic challenges.
His career spans juvenile justice, behavioral health, substance-use recovery, education, workforce development, family support, community engagement, and nonprofit program leadership. Throughout his professional journey, Charles has worked at the intersection of direct service, organizational development, and systems change, helping individuals navigate barriers while strengthening the programs and partnerships designed to support them.
A longtime advocate for youth and families, Charles has held leadership and program roles with organizations including the Urban League of Essex County, Urban League of Greater Atlanta, Newark Public Schools, Youth Advocate Programs, and other community-based and human-services organizations. His experience includes developing youth and family initiatives, managing programs, advancing educational opportunities, supporting workforce development, and building partnerships among schools, nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and community stakeholders.
