Privacy Statement

We only ask for what we need to reply to you, and we never sell what you share. Last updated October 14, 2026.

Who we are

The foundation behind this site

This website is operated by the Caleb Love Foundation, a community-centered nonprofit honoring Caleb Love by creating pathways to hope and opportunity. Our federal employer identification number is 85-2575860.

This statement covers the pages on this site. It does not cover other websites we link to — such as our Facebook page or the secure giving page our Donate button opens — which have their own policies.

Our public email address is info@caleblovefoundation.org. Our phone number and mailing address have not been announced yet; until they are, the fastest way to reach us is our contact form.

What we collect

Every detail, form by form

We collect only what you type into our forms. Nothing here is gathered quietly in the background — there is no hidden tracking that builds a profile of you.

Every submission also records the date and time it was sent and confirmation that you agreed to the consent box. Each form carries one hidden field that exists only to catch automated spam; anything typed into it is discarded and never stored.

What we do not collect

A few things we simply do not ask for

  • No card or bank details. Gifts are taken on our giving platform's own secure page, not through a form on this site — we never see or store payment information.
  • No advertising trackers. This site does not load advertising or social-media tracking scripts of its own, and we do not buy personal information from anyone.
  • No account needed to browse. You can read every public page without signing in or giving us anything.
  • No sensitive details requested. Please do not send Social Security numbers, health records, immigration status or financial account numbers through our forms — we never need them, and a form is not a safe place for them.

How we use it

What happens to what you send

We use what you send for the purpose you sent it for:

  • Replying to your question and following up with you.
  • Matching volunteers to the right role, and partners to the right program.
  • Sending the updates you asked for, and nothing else.
  • Understanding which programs people need most, so we can plan honestly.

We do not sell or rent your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send it to other organizations for their own fundraising.

Where it lives

Who can see your submission

Submissions are written straight into the site's own secure database. The forms are write-only from the public's side: a visitor can send a message, but no one browsing the site can read what anyone else sent. Only a foundation team member with the private team-area sign-in can open the inbox.

That team area is still being built, so today your message is saved safely and reviewed by our small team directly. Traffic to the site passes through our hosting provider, which may record standard technical details — such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed — to keep the service running and secure.

The site itself does not place advertising cookies on your device. If you ever sign in to the private team area, a session is kept in your browser so you stay signed in.

Outside services

The helpers you should know about

Google Fonts. We load our typefaces from Google, so when a page opens, Google sees the request and the visitor's IP address. We do not control that exchange.

Facebook. Our footer links to our Facebook page. Once you click through, Meta's own privacy policy governs what happens there.

Givebutter. Our Donate button opens a Givebutter giving page. Givebutter collects the payment and contact details it needs to process your gift and send your confirmation, under its own privacy policy — this site does not receive or store your card or bank details.

How long

How long we keep it

We keep a submission for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep an accurate record of our commitments — for example, a partnership conversation stays on file while it is live. Newsletter emails stay until you ask us to remove them.

A written retention schedule — exactly how long each type of record is held — is still being finalized with counsel and will be published here once confirmed.

Your choices

See it, change it, or ask us to delete it

Tell us through our contact form and we will:

  • Tell you what we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your information, unless we must keep a record for a legal reason.
  • Stop contacting you, and remove you from the newsletter list.

There is no one-click unsubscribe yet, because we have not begun sending email — until then, tell us through the contact form and we will take you off the list.

We try to answer privacy requests as quickly as we reasonably can.

Young people

For the young people we serve

Our programs are built for people roughly ages 14 to 24, so we expect young visitors. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you are under 18, please talk with a parent or guardian before sending us anything.

A parent or guardian can ask us at any time what we hold about their child, or ask us to remove it, through the contact form.

Keeping it safe

Security, honestly

Pages load over an encrypted connection, forms only add new records rather than expose old ones, and access to submissions is limited to team members who need it. No method of sending information over the internet is completely risk-free, so please keep anything highly sensitive out of a web form.

Changes

When this statement changes

If we change this statement, the new version appears on this page with a fresh "last updated" date, and significant changes will be called out here first.

This statement was drafted by the foundation's team and is still to be reviewed by counsel; a note will be added here once that review is complete.
